Concerts

The acoustics of Kirkpatrick Chapel are much like the music halls of Europe. With its high and narrow architecture, the setting lends itself nicely to choirs and choruses as well as strings and brass.

The chapel includes a raised stage where you’ll find our distinctive Mason & Hamlin grand piano whose tone derives from original Boston-era designs executed with scrupulous attention to detail. The full, powerful bass, lyrical tenor, bell-like treble tones, and tremendous sustain are qualities that together define the Mason & Hamlin sound.

Choral risers, music stands and armless chairs are available.

Kirkpatrick Chapel is handicapped accessible. Seating capacity is 440 with a total occupancy rating of 650.
